Presidential Tribunal Hears Peter Obi’s Petition Towards Tinubu

The President Election Tribunal has adjourned the pre-hearing of the Labour Party’s petition towards President-elect Bola Tinubu and the INEC until May 17, 2023.
Lawyers representing both parties returned to the tribunal to prepare for the listening to, with the LP’s lead counsel requesting an adjournment to permit for all non-contentious processes to be filed.
The petition filed by the Action Alliance (AA) and Allied Peoples Party (APP) towards Tinubu and INEC has been withdrawn.
The Presidential Election Tribunal started pre-hearing periods for petitions filed towards the result of the 2023 presidential election.
The petitions have been filed by political parties and politicians. The suit filed by the Action Alliance (AA) and Allied Peoples Party (APP) towards the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and the INEC has been withdrawn.
Meanwhile, the hearing of the Labour Party’s petition towards Tinubu and INEC was adjourned till May 17, 2023.
The LP’s lead counsel requested an adjournment to permit for the filing of non-contentious processes.
