Pastor Adeboye Shares Incident of a Pastor Arrested for Using “Ladies and Gentlemen” in Addressing a Gathering

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has explained why one of his pastors was arrested abroad. In the report that surfaced online, the General Overseer stated that the pastor was arrested because he addressed a gathering as “ladies and gentlemen”. He said after the pastor made the statement, some people reported him for discrimination.

Pastor Adeboye said the end is nearer than many people think. He said things are getting worse.

Pastor Adeboye was quoted as saying that;

“The end is nearer than you think. Things are getting worse and this is a wake-up call. One of my pastors abroad was arrested and his offence was simply addressing a gathering as ‘ladies and gentlemen’.

“Some people reported him for discrimination, asking that what about those who are neither ladies nor gentlemen?”.
