ONDO STATE: Government Announces Friday as Public Holiday
The Ondo State Government has announced Friday as a public holiday to allow civil servants and residents to travel to their respective communities to participate in the upcoming election.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by O.F. Ayodele, the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Head of Service, the 2024 Governorship Election in Ondo State is set to take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
In preparation for this, the government has designated Friday, November 15, 2024, as a work-free day for public servants to facilitate their travel and participation in the election.
All heads of ministries, departments, and agencies have been instructed to inform their staff about this directive.
