LP’s Abayomi Arabambi declares Apapa as their representative in Election Tribunal.
Factional National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, Abayomi Arabambi, has disclosed that the Labour Party is in support of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, being sworn in on May 29th as the president of Nigeria.
According to Arabambi, the Factional Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa, will start appearing in the presidential election tribunal as the sole representative of the Labour Party.
Arabambi went on to state that Peter Obi will not appear in court as the representative of the Labour Party, rather, he will represent himself in court. Arabambi disclosed that in the court case which was filed in court, Peter Obi listed himself as a separate entity, while the APC was listed separately.
Arabambi revealed that Lamidi Apapa will start appearing in court starting from the next adjourned date of the Labour Party case in court. He also noted that the appearance of Lamidi Apapa will put an end to the controversy surrounding who the leader of the Labour Party truly is.
