Lebanon Launches Over 60 Rockets on Northern Israel, Resulting in Fatalities

In a recent escalation, northern Israel was hit by a deadly rocket attack from Lebanon. According to the Israeli military, around 60 rockets were launched, resulting in two fatalities in the town of Kiryat
Israel’s emergency service, Magen David Adom, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter). The rescue teams also responded to another incident in Haifa, where rocket shrapnel injured five people.
Among the injured was a 16-year-old with moderate injuries, while the rest sustained minor wounds.Although the Israeli military has not yet identified the group responsible for the attack, Hezbollah, a powerful militia based in Lebanon, has often targeted northern Israel.
Hezbollah, supported by Iran, has been firing rockets, grenades, and drones into Israel for over a year, claiming their actions are in support of Hamas in Palestine.Continue Reading >>>
The conflict in this region has intensified in recent months, with Israel increasing its military actions against Hezbollah since September. These operations have included airstrikes and ground assaults aimed at reducing the militia’s strength.
