Nigerian Singer Khaid Teases Upcoming Single Featuring Collaboration with Ghanaian R&B Artist Gyakie

Via social media Nigerian singer Khaid teased a new collaboration with Ghanaian singer Gyakie. This marks his first single with the R&B superstar in 2024. In his post, he said, “It’s Time. My FIRST SINGLE of the Year Drops on Friday. Sincerely SNOW”. The song and music video is scheduled for release on February 9, 2024.

Khaid was recently dubbed as Apple Music’s “the next generation of stars”. Through his debut EP, Diversity, he delved into a variety of themes, and in his second EP, Emotions, he presented emotionally charged songs like Jara, People, and Jolie, among others. Khaid’s evolution as a Nigerian artist dedicated to his craft is palpable.

Khaid was in serious controversy when he was rumored to be dating Big Brother Naija Reality TV star Phyna. The 19-year-old musician had shared pictures of the both of them looking cozy on social media. This led to Phyna getting heavily criticized because of the age difference between her and the singer.
