Islamic Cleric Arrested as Missing Student Found Dead in Ilorin After Facebook Encounter
In a tragic incident that has gone viral on social media, Lawal Hafsoh Yetunde, a final-year student at Kwara State College of Education, was found dead at the home of an Islamic cleric in Ilorin after being lured through Facebook.
According to the Kwara State Police Command, the cleric, Abdulrahman Mohad Ballo, confessed that Yetunde visited him alive but claimed she died from an asthma attack. He is currently in police custody at the command headquarters in Ilorin.
