“If Tinubu Gives Me An Appointment I Will Accept It & Work In The Interest Of Nigeria” – Donald Duke
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former Cross River Governor, Donald Duke, spoke many hours ago in an exclusive interview on News Central TV and was asked if he would accept an appointment to work with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Donald Duke said He will definitely accept it, but it must be what he has passion for and knows will benefit Nigerians.
When Asked By The TV Host If He Will Accept An Appointment From Tinubu, Donald Duke Said, “Of course I will accept.
I think it’s so unpatriotic to hold back a gift you have and not make it available to the general people. Yes, I am not APC and I didn’t campaign for the president, but if he finds me worthy and offers me an appointment, I will accept and work in the interest of Nigeria.”
Speaking further, he said, “But it must be something that I could give value to and not just anything else; otherwise, go get someone else. For instance, if he asks me to come and be minister of sports, that is not my passion, and I won’t give my best, but it will be very unpatriotic to hold back what you can give if the needs arise.”
