Gov Umahi initiate College of Education Governing Council
Governor David Umahi has inaugurated the 12-member Governing Council of the State College of Education in Ikwo, Ebonyi.
In accordance with the governor, the initiative was geared toward deepening governance by enhancing inclusion within the state’s administration.
Umahi carried out the inauguration in Abakaliki, and appointed Mrs Betty Uzoma as a Everlasting Secretary.
Earlier than her appointment, Uzoma was the Govt Secretary of the state’s Public Procurement Council and had additionally served as a Particular Assistant to the Governor.
Mr Francis Igwe will function Chairman of the Governing Council of the College of Education, with Sunday Ajah, Simeon Osiogu, and Joseph Edeh as members.
Others had been Messrs Uche Chukwu, Ogbonnaya Agwu, Ifeanyi James, Michael Edigbo, Uzo Ogbonnaya and Chukwunonso Oyibe.
Mr Benedict Mbam was appointed because the Provost and Mrs Chinyere Agama because the Registrar.
