FIRS Updates: Current NYSC Members Eligible to Apply for Recruitment

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced that current National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members are eligible to apply for their ongoing recruitment.In a brief statement posted on their official X account, FIRS clarified that corps members set to complete their service before December 31, 2024, can submit applications.

The agency emphasized that the application deadline is November 14, 2024.“Serving corps members who will finish before December 31, 2024, can apply.

Having a membership with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) will be considered an advantage for applicants,” FIRS stated.This announcement follows FIRS’s recent initiative to recruit tax officers across the country.
