Dangote Refinery Seeks Court to Revoke Import Licenses of NNPCL, Matrix, and Four Others
Disputes with regulatory bodies and equity partners have led Dangote to reconsider his investment strategies in Nigeria.In addition, Dangote has raised concerns, accusing others of importing substandard petroleum products into the Nigerian market.
The federal government had allowed marketers to purchase petroleum products directly from the Dangote refinery. This decision followed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s (NNPC) move to step back from its intermediary role between the refinery and the marketers.
