Cyber Security Expert Kenneth Okonkwo Tenders INEC-Signed Letter in Court
A prominent attorney and Labour Party leader named Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo recently posted on social media that Dr. Chibuike Ugwuoke, a cyber security specialist, had been called to testify before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal against the INEC.
On Wednesday night, Okonkwo, a member of the legal team defending the Labour Party and Peter Gregory Obi, its presidential candidate, posted a number of tweets on his Twitter account.
In them, Okonkwo stated that Ugwuoke had provided a letter, signed by Festus Okoye, the National Commissioner of INEC, assuring Nigerians that the electoral umpire would electronically transmit results from polling locations across the nation to its Results Viewing portal.
When the court reconvenes on June 22, 2023, he claims that attorneys for INEC and the APC will request permission from the five judges to cross-examine the witness.
The Labour Party leader also revealed that PVCs from 32 states and Certified True Copies of INEC’s voter list were presented in court as evidence by Obi’s attorneys.
Below is Kenneth Okonkwo’s complete tweet:.
