BREAKING: Sowore Attack Buhari over London trip for teeth treatment
The presidency on Tuesday revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari will not return to the country this week over a health issue, and this is coming at a time that the President- elect, Bola Tinubu, is allegedly making plans to fly out of the country over the same health.
President Buhari whom many Nigerians referred to as the President who spent most of his days in office outside the country on a sick bed, won’ t be back to the country from the United Kingdom after it was revealed that he had an appointment with his dentist.
The Presidency made this known through a statement released by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
He said, ” President Muhammadu Buhari will be in London, United Kingdom, for an additional week, at the behest of his dentist, who has started attending to him.
” The specialist requires to see the President in another five days for a procedure already commenced. “
The development has generated a lot of reactions from Nigerians, particularly the statement released by the Presidency over Buhari’ s health. The President was accused of starting his administration on a sick bed and e ending the same way.
In his reaction, a human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, knocked President Muhammadu Buhari over his medical trip to London.
Sowore made this known while speaking through his official Twitter handle, stressing that Buhari failed to put in place a modern health facility to cater to his health issues.
He wrote, ” In his 8 years of misrule, @mbuhari didn’t build a dental clinic that could cater for 32 pieces of his dentition.
” He didn’t build an ear care clinic that could cater for his two ears, not a molehill to climb to see the stars at night like he started his failed regime with London doctors, he’ s ending disastrously on the streets of London in search of doctors to treat indigestion, ” Sowore said.
