BREAKING: PDP Suspends former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi

There seems to be a very far journey to the end of the crises consuming the Kaduna State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, as Tudun Wada Ward Executives of Makarfi Local Government Area have suspended the former Governor of the State, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi.
Following a letter signed signed by the Executives of his own Ward, Ahmed Makarfi is accused of the following:
1. Being self-opinionated and intolerant of dissenting views irrespective of merit.
2. Fractionalizing the party using his influence as a member of the national leadership of the party.
3. Undermining the party’s laid down guidelines and procedures in the day toa day management of the affairs of the party.
4. Engineering and promoting the arbitrary expulsion of loyal members of our party in Tudun Wada Ward without recourse to due process.
5. Undermining the party’s mobilization during the recently concluded General Elections by engineering a skewed distribution of the resources meant for the campaign.

The letter of the suspension which was signed on Sunday, 14th May 2023, had the signatures of the Chairman of the PDP, Tudun Wada Ward (Saidu Aliyu), alongside five other Executive members.
