Bode George Forgives Tinubu, Says He Has Forgotten About Their Past Issues

A former Deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olabode George has stated that he has forgiven the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that Bode George, a notable political gladiator from Lagos State is one of the staunch critics of Bola Ahmed Tinubu before the 2023 presidential election.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress had earlier defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party to clinch the apex political seat in the country. He has since been sworn in as the 16th president of Nigeria.

In an exclusive interview with The Punch Newspaper, Chief Bode George said; “All those saying I want an appointment don’t know what they are saying.
What exactly do they want to happen to the young ones coming up? I said I have forgiven him (Tinubu). We had an issue and people settled it for us and I have forgotten about it.”

Asked whether or not he would accept a political appointment from the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government if offered, the Peoples Democratic Party chieftain said; “I will give him people that have the knowledge from the party having been a manager of the party for years.
If he says he wants me to help him get someone, there are millions of young people who still have all the energy to run around and not me.”
