At Buhari’s book launch, Rabiu, Dangote, and Tinubu spend over N500 million

Two volumes about the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), were officially unveiled on Friday, and attendees paid over N500m for copies.. ..
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, unveiled the books at a ceremony held at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja.
The unveiled books are – State of Repair: How Muhammadu Buhari Tried to Change Nigeria for Good written by Antony Goldman and The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari written by Senator Abu Ibrahim.. ..
Executive Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu led bought copies of the books with the sum of N200m, while the Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote and Chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, Muhammed Idimi obtained copies of both books for N100m each.
President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima also obtained copies for a combined sum of N40 million.
The books were reviewed by former Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Abuja, Prof. Abubakar Abba, respectively.
