After Bandits Kidnapped Our Colleagues, The Soldiers Came And Told Us To Go To The Road – Student
A student of the federal university Gusau in Zamfara state has lamented, following the abduction of some of her colleagues, where she frowned over the the actions of the soldiers who had later arrived after the incident.
The female student who was speaking to journalist, according to Channels Television noted that the bandits had arrived where the students were all staying, being close to the school, and had abducted 5 of them.
She said after they were abducted, the soldiers arrived at the scene, and had proceeded to wait for 5 minutes before instructing the students to go the road, stressing that they would follow suit.
Speaking further, the student pointed out that the soldiers failed to come outside to the road, after instructing them, but rather saw vigilantes being the one that came outside to join them.
In her words… “They (bandits) came to the house in the night, they took the students and left, and soldiers came and stood for 5 minutes, and then asked us to go to the road, that they are coming, but they only put vigilantes with us”
Recall that the students had today blocked the road, protesting following the abduction of some of their colleagues by bandits.
