Kassim Afegbua made the statement in an interview with Come up Information during the Newsnight program when Charles Aniagolu said that he hope Afegbua understand why individuals are concerned about how much energy Tinubu has and about his psychological focus and questions on his real age.

Adding that people have anxiety which is not just because people don’t like Bola Ahmed Tinubu but they just want a president that can do the job.

Afegbua reacted that,

“No, the outcome of the election showed the majority of the Nigerians preferred him to anybody else. “

Charles argued that, it is not correct to say that majority of the Nigerians preferred him because “If you add the opposition’s votes, they have much more than what Tinubu got, so it can’t be the majority of Nigerians.

Afegbua clarified that the requirement for being elected is purely simple majority votes and 25 percent in 24 states or two-thirds of the states in Nigeria. So the point is, he got the majority votes in the election. … Continue Reading.
