Speed Darlington Finally Drops Long-Awaited Diss Track, Fires Shots at ‘Long Face’
Nigerian singer and internet sensation Speed Darlington has finally released the much-anticipated diss track he teased weeks ago. Known for his controversial style and outspoken personality, the “Baby Oil” crooner took direct shots at his target, Long Face, while also addressing his past run-ins with the law.
Recall that Speed Darlington had previously revealed the amount he was willing to invest in his diss track, sparking curiosity among fans. In the newly released track, he referenced his time in prison, mentioning specific holding cells and correctional facilities.
The video for the track features a woman pole-dancing, which quickly became a talking point among fans. Many social media users noted that she appeared to be a mother of two, questioning Speed Darlington’s choice.
Diss tracks have been a long-standing tradition in the Nigerian music industry, with artists like Portable and Asake recently engaging in lyrical battles. Over the years, music stars such as Eedris Abdulkareem, Mode 9, and 2Baba have also used diss tracks to address their rivals.
