It is official that Wizkid would create a new history for African music and artists with his concert at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Following an official confirmation a few hours to a defining moment in Wizkid’s career, it has been confirmed that the multiple award-winning artist has officially become the first and only African artist in history to sell out one of the biggest stadium grounds in London, the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
In an official publication by media giants CNN, it was confirmed that Wiz joined music powerhouses Beyonce and The Red Hot Chili Peppers as the only artists to perform at the London stadium in 2023.
Afrobeats enthusiasts were not disappointed on the historic night, which was Saturday, July 29, 2023, as the starboy took over 45,000 fans present at the venue on a music journey that was accompanied by the best stage setting, performance and backup singers.
