“We Will Fight for Her!” Toke Makinwa Slams 2Baba Over Public Divorce Drama
Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has fiercely criticized legendary musician 2Baba for publicizing his marital issues with Annie Idibia.
In a Instagram post, Makinwa condemned 2Baba’s decision to make their private struggles public, calling it “wrong on every level” and vowing to stand firmly by Annie during this challenging time.
“I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong,” Makinwa declared. “If you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it’ll touch your daughter or any female in your family.”
Expressing frustration over the timing and impact of 2Baba’s actions, Makinwa stressed the importance of empathy and careful handling of such sensitive matters.
“Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that’s not serving them any purpose anymore. By all means, leave if you must, but why bring this online at this very moment?” she questioned, hinting at deeper issues behind the scenes.
Makinwa also emphasized the broader implications of airing personal conflicts, noting how such actions could ripple through families and communities. “Timing is everything, empathy is everything. You constantly preach love; you cannot add to the narrative out there when you know what is really happening behind closed doors,” she added.
Her passionate defense of Annie has sparked widespread discussion across social media, with fans and celebrities weighing in on the ongoing saga.
As the drama continues to unfold, the public eagerly awaits further developments and possible responses from 2Baba or Annie.
