Verydarkman’s Harsh Criticism of Judy Austin Triggers Online Controversy
Nigerian social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has sparked a heated debate online following his sharp critique of actress Judy Austin, the partner of Nollywood star Yul Edochie.
The controversy began when Judy shared a cheerful video of herself welcoming Yul home for the Christmas season. What might have been seen as a joyous family moment quickly became a target for criticism.
Taking to Facebook, Verydarkman launched a fiery attack, accusing Judy of being a “husband snatcher” and claiming she was overly fixated on showcasing her relationship with Yul on social media. According to him, her frequent displays of affection seemed more like an attempt to seek public validation rather than genuine contentment.
VDM argued that Judy’s union with Yul had left her in a state of unrest, constantly striving to prove the strength of their relationship through online theatrics. He advised her to redirect her energy toward personal growth, urging her to focus on achieving milestones like endorsements, career advancement, and financial stability.
In his post, he wrote:
*”Second Wife Can Be Doing The Most… You Snatched, Yet You Don’t Have Peace of Mind. Doesn’t This Lady Have Family to Guide Her? My Dear, Go Out, Try to Get Endorsements, and Start Making Money Like Your Mates.
Instead of making noise up and down, my father’s second wife never behaved this way. But today, her story has changed. Go hustle for your children. Old age won’t be kind to you.”*
The post quickly went viral, drawing a wide range of reactions from supporters and critics alike.
