Uche Ogbodo Responds to Maureen Solomon Over Criticism of Her BBL Posts

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has responded to fellow actress Maureen Solomon, who advised her to stop posting photos of her body following her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

In a video shared online, Solomon cautioned Ogbodo about the possible negative influence such posts could have on young people.
Reacting, Ogbodo questioned why Solomon was concerned about her BBL posts but did not speak out when she was being body-shamed online after giving birth to three children.
“Where were you when they body-shamed me after childbirth? You never told them to stop,” Ogbodo said.
She added that her posts were meant to promote confidence and transparency, saying she was teaching young people to embrace their bodies and make informed choices rather than believe false claims about beauty.
Ogbodo further advised individuals to do whatever makes them happy, emphasizing that decisions about one’s body are personal.
