Taking to Instagram to celebrate, Abraham expressed her gratitude to fans and her relentless drive to outdo her previous successes.

“The journey to beat my last record started immediately after we finished the production of Alakada,” she wrote. “Yes, I wanted to do well at the box office, but beating my last record and almost doubling it is better than just doing well.”

The film’s remarkable performance has positioned it among the most successful Nollywood box office hits in history.
