Shehu Abdullahi – Super Eagles player wife welcome a new bouncing baby boy
Super Eagles player, Shehu Abdullahi, and his wife, Naja’atu Muhammad have welcomed the arrival of a new baby boy.
Abdullahi took to his Instagram page on Thursday to announce the cheering news.
He said he and his wife were elated to announce the arrival of a baby boy, while given God the glory.
The Eagles player said the baby and the mother are in good health.
In his words: “We are thrilled to announce our baby boy, mother and baby are in good health. We thank Allah!
We were blessed with the arrival of our son this morning. We appreciate your prayers.”
Abdullahi married his actress wife, Muhammad, in Kano last year.
Born on 12 March, 1993, Abdullahi currently plays for Cypriot First Division side Omonia.
In January 2014, late coach Stephen Keshi, invited him to be a part of the Nigeria national football team squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship.
He helped the team to a third-place finish after Nigeria beat Zimbabwe by a goal to nil. He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
In May 2018 he was named in Nigeria’s preliminary 30-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia
