Quick facts about fire incident at Ayo Makun’s mansion (photos)

Fire on Sunday evening gutted the mansion of Ayo Makun, which is located on 1, Ayo Makun Street in Richmond Gate Estate, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
The fire incident started around 5pm.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service received a distress call concerning the fire at about 17:34 hours.
The call was quickly attended to by the Oba Oniru Fire Station.
The agency on arrival discovered the fire from a room used as a store on the upper floor of the residential building.
The fire was met well alight with smoke billowing the sky before it was confined and put out from causing further damage to the property and adjoining structures in the estate.
The operation was concluded around 19:45 hours.
The incident did not record neither injury nor death. However, the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
In response to the incident, Ayo Makun took to his Instagram page to share a heartfelt message.
He emphasized the importance of family and faith, stating, “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes.”
