Pep Guardiola Restrained After Confrontation With Mocking Fan (Video)
A video of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola being restrained after a tense exchange with a mocking fan has gone viral online.
The 24-second clip shows Guardiola, dressed in a dark grey suit and black tie, walking through Manchester city center with his son, Marius, and another companion. The incident began when a fan approached and taunted him, saying, “Ah mate, just because you lost.”
Guardiola turned and replied, “You know what is lost?” before attempting to approach the fan, who was filming him. However, his son and companion intervened, preventing the situation from escalating.
Reports suggest the confrontation occurred following Manchester City’s FA Cup final loss to Manchester United.
This isn’t the first time Guardiola has made headlines; in 2020, he donated €1 million (£918,000) to aid Spain’s fight against COVID-19.
