Osuntokun: Peter Obi Is no longer a legal Presidential Candidate in our Party, Labour party member Stated

Akin Osuntokun, the Director General of the Obi/Datti 2023 presidential marketing campaign council, has revealed {that a} member of a faction inside the Labour Party has taken it upon themselves to declare Peter Obi’s candidacy as invalid.
He disclosed this data throughout an interview. In the interview with Channels TV, Akin Osuntokun additionally spoke concerning the latest Adamawa State governorship election and the position of INEC in it.
He stated that the state governorship REC declared Senator Aisha Binani as the governorship-elect because he knew that the Electoral Commission typically acts in that manner.
In regards to the ongoing leadership crisis in the Labour Party, Akin Osuntokun attributed the cause of the crisis to the Judiciary. He explained that the Judiciary gave a judgement based on the case brought by Lamidi Apapa’s faction, without taking a more logical stance on the matter.
Furthermore, Akin Osuntokun disclosed that Lamidi Apapa’s faction has been trying to undermine the opposition party. He also stated that Julius Abure, who served as the chairman of the Labour Party during the presidential, Governorship, and state assembly elections, was asked by the judge to stop parading himself as the chairman of the party.
During the interview, Akin Osuntokun shared a statement made by one of the members of the Labour Party faction after a recent meeting held in Abuja. The member reportedly stated that the presidential candidate is no longer legal, which Akin Osuntokun interpreted as an attempt to undermine the candidate of their own party. He questioned the motives of such actions, particularly in light of the current state of the party.
