Olamide Wins Best Rap Album At 15th Headies
Olamide proves once again to be one of Nigeria’s Favourite rap icons as he bags the Headies award for Rap Album of the Year. More details on this below.
Nigerian rapper and YBNL founder Olamide continued his reign as one of the most decorated rappers and musicians in the country as he bagged the award for Best Rap Album.
The rapper had won this award with his critically acclaimed Carpe Diem, in a category that included rap projects like Show Dem Camp’s Clone Wars Vol 5; The Algorythm, A-Q’s Golden, Idowest’s Mafia Culture Vol.2, LadiPoe’ Providence and Blaqbonez’s Sex Over Love.
The award makes it the rapper’s 16th Headies win since the inception of the show and makes him one of the highest winners ever. Olamide’s Carpe Diem was released in October 2020 and was highlighted with lead singles like Infinity with Omah Lay, Loading with Bad Boy Timz as well as Triumphant with Bella Shmurda. Congratulations to Olamide, the Baddoo on his Headies win.
