Kizz Daniel Addresses Missed Paris Concert, Blames Promoter Dispute

Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has explained the circumstances surrounding his missed concert in Paris, attributing the incident to a disagreement between his tour agent and the show promoter.

In a statement shared via his Instagram Story, the “Buga” hitmaker clarified that he was fully prepared to perform but was delayed due to a payment dispute involving his tour agent, Olamide Baron, and another promoter.

“First, this wasn’t my fault,” Kizz Daniel wrote. “Whatever clips y’all are seeing is a beef between the tour agent @olamidebaron and the show promoter. I was paid in full to perform in Paris by @olamidebaron. He sold the show to another promoter, who breached their contract by not paying his balance.”

According to the singer, he missed his flight after Baron delayed departure while trying to resolve the payment issue.

“I’ve been ready since 6 a.m. for a 12:25 p.m. flight. We were delayed from flying by @olamidebaron so he could get his money, which I wasn’t aware of until later,” he explained. “He resolved the issue, but by then, we couldn’t make the flight.”

Kizz Daniel added that although he eventually arrived in Paris later in the evening, the venue had already closed for the night.

“We came into Paris late because of an unresolved issue between two promoters. I was paid and ready to perform! I never requested any specific car or an Escalade — all lies. I’ve been moving around Europe in rented cabs,” he said.

The artist emphasized his dedication to his fans, noting that he still went to the venue despite the cancellation.

“I came to the venue because I wanted to perform, but the venue closes by 11 p.m. according to the promoters. I tried my best to make this a smooth run, but sometimes, e get as e be.”

Kizz Daniel also pointed out his recent successful shows in Italy and Sweden and assured fans of his upcoming performances in Amsterdam and Cologne.

“I performed 4 a.m. in Parma after getting ready since 8 p.m., and 1:30 a.m. in Sweden after preparing since 9 p.m. For Amsterdam, I’ll be there by God’s grace. Cologne’s show is set for 10 p.m., and I’m excited,” he concluded.
