Jumoke George’s Daughter Breaks Silence: “They Said They’ll Kill Me If I Return to Nigeria”
Deola, daughter of popular Yoruba actress Jumoke George, has resurfaced after previously being declared missing—revealing heartbreaking details of being trafficked to Mali and forced into prostitution.
In a video shared on BIOLA ADEBAYO ENT’s official YouTube channel, Deola emotionally recounted her experience during a video call with her mother. She explained that her traffickers warned her never to attempt returning to Nigeria, threatening her life if she did.
“The people who took me to Mali for prostitution told me they would kill me if I tried to go back to Nigeria,” she revealed. “They threatened that I wouldn’t come back alive, and I have been unable to sleep for several days because of this.”
The distressing revelation, visible between the 13:48 and 14:13 mark of the video, paints a stark picture of the fear and trauma endured by victims of human trafficking. Deola’s story has sparked widespread sympathy and outrage across social media, with fans and Nollywood actors calling for swift government action.
Though authorities have yet to release an official statement, the video has reignited public concern over the safety of Nigerian girls abroad and the pressing need for stronger anti-trafficking efforts and victim support systems.
