Actress Monalisa visits Mr. Ibu in hospital (Photos & videos)

Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda Coker has visited comic actor, John Okafor, known as sick Mr. Ibu in hospital in Abuja.

Mr. Ibu has been sick and at a time, he refused to take medication, begging his daughter to take the drugs on his behalf.
Monalisa, who visited Mr. Ibu in hospital on Friday, said the actor is responding to treatment.

The actress, an executive member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), was at the hospital on behalf of the association.

A video posted on her Instagram page showed the actress playing with Mr. Ibu, trying to cheer him up while he was sitting on a chair looking pale.

Monalisa was able to get Mr. Ibu’s attention and made him to smile, forgetting his sorrow.
She wrote: “All is well 🙏❤️❤️❤️ Thank you all for your unflinching support for the AGN, Her national Executives and Members.

“Mr Ibu is doing well and responding to treatment at the Zenith Medical and Kidney Center, Abuja.”
Emeka Rollas, National President, AGN said on his Instagram page that he had earlier in the day sent an evaluation team to evaluate the health status of Mr. Ibu.

“Earlier today I sent an evaluation team to evaluate the health status of Mr Ibu. The delegation was led by our Director of Communications Monalisa Chinda Cocker and the reports I have gotten is very encouraging.“He is responding to treatment. I thank all of you for your support to Actors Guild of Nigeria,” he said.
