19-Year-Old Babe Burns Down Boyfriend’s Family House After Argument
A 19-year-old girl, Ramatoulie Baldeh, has been arrested for allegedly setting her boyfriend’s family home on fire following a heated argument.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Kerr Sering, Gambia. Reports indicate that after the disagreement, Ramatoulie ignited a plastic bag and threw it on the bed before opening a gas cylinder, leading to a massive fire outbreak.
The flames quickly spread, consuming the entire house and all belongings inside. Fortunately, no lives were lost, but the destruction left 10 tenants homeless, as their apartments were also affected.
One of the displaced tenants expressed distress, saying, “We are now homeless, with all our belongings destroyed. We urgently need help.”
Authorities have detained Ramatoulie at the Senegambia Police Station while CID officers continue their investigation.
