10 facts about Nollywood actor Ogogo who fought hoodlums in Ogun
Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, known as Ogogo is a popular name in the Yoruba genre of the industry, having acted in scores of movies.
Recently, the actor came up to say he engaged in a fight with hoodlums who claimed to be his fans in his hometown of Ilaro, Ogun State.
Here are 10 quick facts about him.
1. Ogogo was born on 31 October, 1959 in Ilaro, Ogun State. He will be 63 years old by October 31.
2. He is a Nigerian film actor, producer and director.
3. He has a twin brother, and his family has a history of twins, with his father and grandfather both having been twins.
4. The actor completed his primary education at Christ Church School in Ilaro and attended Gaskiya College in Lagos for his secondary education, but was unable to finish due to a financial problem.
5. He studied at a technical college and worked as an automobile mechanic at the water corporation for about 13 years.
6. Ogogo began his acting career in 1981, shortly after starting work as a mechanic.
7. In 1994, he left his job at the water corporation to concentrate on acting.
8. Ogogo is married to two wives and has many children.
9. He has acted in scores of movies some of which are: Baba Ibeji, Suspect, Ashabi Iya Eko, Heartless, Plastic Girls, Aiye Alabata, Ote, Ore Ojokan , Aye K-ooto, Idakeji Aye and Sunday Igboho.
10. Ogogo has received the City People Movie Lifetime Achievement Award.
