20-yr-old boy arrested for allegedly killing and his girlfriend for ritual

A 300level student of UNIJOS, for r! tual purposes Police operatives in Plateau State have arrested a 20-year- old boy

identified as Moses Okon, who allegedly m # rdered one Jennifer Anthony, a 300 level student of the University of Jos, for ritual purposes.

The deceased’s corpse was found on January 1, 2022, with her eyes pl # cked out. She was allegedly br # tally m # rdered at an hotel in Jos by the suspect, who was said to be her boyfriend.

Parading the suspect on Wednesday, January 12, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Bartholomew Onyeka said the suspect fled after committing the crime.

“The Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawked-eye police operatives of the Command.

He will be arraigned in court as soon as the investigation is completed , “he said.
