Sophia Momodu’s Lawyer Files ₦1 Billion Lawsuit Against Davido

A lawyer representing Sophia Momodu, Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against Nigerian singer Davido amid ongoing child custody proceedings.

The suit was filed by Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors following a court session held on February 12, 2026. According to the filing, Davido allegedly verbally confronted Enedah during the session and subsequently made posts on social media describing her as the “worst lawyer ever.”

In the lawsuit, Enedah is seeking a public apology, a retraction of the statements, and ₦1 billion in damages.

As of the time of filing this report, Davido has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.
