Ned Nwoko Alleges Regina Daniels’ Relatives Were Arrested After Hotel Dispute in Abuja

Nigerian lawmaker Ned Nwoko has alleged that some relatives of his wife, actress Regina Daniels, were arrested following a dispute at a hotel in Abuja. The claims were reported by The Cable on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Speaking during a gathering of the Kay Hikers Club, Nwoko said the incident occurred while Daniels was staying at the hotel with friends and family members. According to him, the group spent several days socialising, which included “four days of drinking and smoking.”

Nwoko stated that tensions escalated after Daniels reported being physically assaulted by another guest. He said she responded by blocking the hotel’s main gates with her vehicles, preventing movement in and out of the premises.

Hotel management and other guests reportedly raised concerns, prompting police involvement. Nwoko said he declined to intervene personally, allowing law enforcement officers to handle the situation.

He alleged that some of Daniels’ relatives were subsequently arrested. Nwoko added that activities during the stay, including the group’s conduct and timeline, were documented in police statements.

“They took this place for four days… It was four days of partying for them. It was four days of drinking and smoking,” Nwoko said. “The fact that they were here between the 9th and the 13th or so, and they had drinks and drugs, was documented. We have written police statements.”
