President Tinubu Felicitates 2Baba on 50th Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described 2Baba as “one of Africa’s most celebrated music icons” whose career has shaped Nigeria’s entertainment industry for over two decades.
“For more than 20 years, 2Baba has serenaded us with soulful melodies, inspired younger generations, and proudly carried Nigeria’s flag across the world. His timeless track African Queen remains a cultural masterpiece that projected the beauty of African music on the global stage,” the statement read.
President Tinubu also praised 2Baba’s patriotism, noting his consistent advocacy for peace, national unity, and good governance. He wished the singer continued success, good health, and fulfilment in the years ahead.
