Actress Motunde Sogunle Reveals She Was Rejected After Asking Man Out

Nollywood actress Motunde Sogunle has opened up about a personal experience in her love life, recounting how a man she admired turned down her request to date him.

Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Sogunle said she met a man whose appearance and personality impressed her, prompting her to express her feelings directly.

“I met a good-looking guy, I told him I want to date him, but he doesn’t want to date me,” she said. “After he told me that he is not interested in me, I decided to repackage myself in order to meet up with his standards.”

According to the actress, the rejection motivated her to work on herself, a process she described as “repackaging.” She added that her persistence stems from the belief that the man could be a suitable partner for a long-term relationship, possibly leading to marriage.

Sogunle said she remains determined to pursue him, stressing that in her view, love sometimes requires patience, determination, and adjustments to win over a partner.
