Young thug – best friend is the fifth song on Thugger’s first edition of Slime Season. Produced by Young Shad and Ricky Racks, Thug comes hard with his crooning and braggadocios style to brag about his bestie.
This song was met with controversy upon release when Louisiana rapper Tokyo Vanity threatened to sue Thugger. According to Complex Magazine, Vanity is threatening to sue Thugger for copyright infringement, claiming he stole her song “That’s My Best Friend.”
