Juliana Olayode Reaffirms Commitment to Virginity Until Marriage

Popular Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has openly shared her decision to remain a virgin until marriage, emphasizing that her choice is based on strong personal values and her relationship with God.
Speaking in an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Olayode, best known for her role in Jenifa’s Diary, explained that societal pressures make it challenging to maintain such a commitment. However, she has remained steadfast in her decision despite advances from men, especially online.
She stated:
“If any lady intends to remain a virgin in this present generation, then it has to be beyond wanting to be a good girl, and that is why it is not easy to maintain one’s virginity because there are a lot of men out there. Some men approached me online after I revealed that I’m a virgin, but I’m still able to keep myself because of my relationship with God, otherwise, I wouldn’t be keeping myself anymore.”
To help maintain her commitment, Olayode shared that she deliberately avoids content on social media that could tempt or influence her decision.
Following her revelation, reactions from fans and social media users have been mixed. While many praised her for upholding her values, others questioned whether her choice is practical in today’s society. Despite differing opinions, Olayode remains resolute, attributing her strength to her faith and personal discipline.
As she continues to grow in Nollywood, Olayode hopes her story will inspire young women to stay true to their values, regardless of external pressures.
