EPL: Amorim Urges Man Utd Players to Work Like “Mad Dogs” to Win Title
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has emphasized that his team must put in relentless effort if they hope to win the Premier League.
Amorim, who took over from Erik ten Hag during the November international break, has had a slow start, securing just one victory—a commanding 4-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford. While still implementing his tactical system, the 39-year-old has downplayed immediate expectations but has set a clear standard for his players.
“The way we sprint back, sprint forward, and fight is crucial,” Amorim stated. “Without that effort, even the best team in the world won’t win. Hard work comes first; tactics and technique come after.”
He added, “If we want to win the Premier League, we have to run like mad dogs. Without that, success is impossible.”
Amorim’s message underlines the importance of discipline and intensity as United adapts to his leadership.
