EPL Table Preview: Chelsea, Man Utd, and Liverpool Face Away Matches, While Man City Hosts at Home
In-form Chelsea, who beat Aston Villa on Sunday, returns to action on Wednesday night at bottom team Southampton. Chelsea sits third but level on points with Arsenal.
Red Devils will arrive in north London having picked up their first Premier League win under new boss Ruben Amorim. United beat Everton 4-0, but the victory came at a cost, though.
Heading into the match, United had two players sitting on four yellow cards, meaning they were one booking away from being suspended, and two of the players picked up a caution in the match at Old Trafford, meaning they will miss the trip to Arsenal.
They are two influential players in Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez. Arsenal, however, are coming off an impressive win at West Ham and are poised for another. Man United must start on the front foot to get anything out of the fixture.
Liverpool gathered more momentum in their title chase, beating reigning champions Man City 2-0. Liverpool takes this form to Newcastle. Man City, however, must respond when Nottingham Forest visits the Etihad. Man City sits 5th on the table, and only a win can guarantee them climbing up the table.
EPL Table Ahead of These Games
Changes are expected on the table as Ipswich Town play Crystal Palace and Leicester play West Ham on Tuesday night.
