Reactions Emerge as Tinubu’s Aide Shares Statistics Indicating No Favoritism Towards Yorubas in Security Appointments
Social media users have taken to their official X accounts to respond after Sunday Dare, Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, shared statistics that suggest the President has not favored Yorubas in his security appointments.
In his post, Dare revealed that President Tinubu appointed eight individuals from the Northwest, five from the Southwest, four from the North Central, three from the Northeast, one from the South South, and one from the Southeast.Following the release of this information, Dare argued that claims of President Tinubu favoring Yorubas in his security setup are unfounded. He stated, “Facts do not lie.
The regional distribution of President Tinubu’s appointments across 20 security agencies is clearly presented here. The notion that he favors Yorubas in these appointments is not accurate. Nigeria, we hail thee!”Dare’s post has sparked numerous comments and discussions among social media users since it was shared.
