Complete List of Ministers Dismissed by Tinubu and Their Respective Portfolios
Presidential aide Bayo Onanuga announced that President Tinubu has established a new Ministry of Regional Development to oversee the Niger Delta and other development commissions. This announcement followed a cabinet reshuffle that resulted in the dismissal of five ministers after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on October 23.
Among the notable names on the list of those relieved of their duties are Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs, and Prof. Tahir Mamman, the Minister of Education. The restructuring details were shared by Tinubu’s special assistant on social media, Olusegun Dada, via his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Barrister Ohanenye has faced criticism for her approach to her role, particularly regarding her efforts to disrupt events she deemed unauthorized by her ministry.
