Lagos Assembly Suspends Alimosho Local Council Chairman

The Lagos State House of Assembly has announced the indefinite suspension of Jelili Sulaimon, the chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, effective immediately. >

At a plenary session held on Monday, October 7, the Assembly decided that the council’s vice chairman, Akinpelu Johnson, should assume leadership and manage the council’s affair.

The Assembly also directed the council’s management team, including the manager and treasurer, to acknowledge the vice chairman’s authority and offer him full support to ensure the smooth operation of the council.
