DJ Cuppy Affirms After Hosting UNGA Session “School is Not a Scam”

Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, made history as the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
On Saturday, Cuppy took to X (formerly Twitter) to emphasize, “School is NOT a SCAM,” following her significant role at the 2024 UNGA, where she moderated the Youth Action Day, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”
The event saw an unprecedented turnout, marking the largest youth gathering ever at the UN Headquarters. DJ Cuppy’s charisma and leadership were evident as she engaged young leaders and advocates in crucial discussions focused on building a brighter future.
Beyond moderating, she treated attendees to a stunning musical performance after delivering her keynote speech.
The event also featured notable figures like the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and José Maria Neves, President of Cape Verde.
