Police Recover Arms and Ammunition From IPOB Agents in Akwa Ibom
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command announced on Sunday that it recovered arms and ammunition, allegedly from suspected agents of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), during an intensive patrol operation.
This was stated in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Timfon John, and made available to the press on Sunday.
According to the statement the incident happened on Thursday August, 29, 2024 along Stadium Road in Abiakpo Edem Inyang Village, Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
