Police Bust Alleged ‘Ghost’ Scheme in Adamawa

Police in Adamawa State Arrest 59-Year-Old Man for Allegedly Pretending to be a Ghost to Defraud the Public
The Adamawa State Police Command said in a statement that Sabo is a habitual 419 who specializes in defrauding Members of the public in a disguised manner, mostly by hiding his identity while pretending to be a Ghost and talking to his victims with different voices.
“The suspect, at times changes his voice sound to that of a woman or a child to dupe his victims,” the police command said.
The Police said one of his latest victims was one Abba Bale who he defrauded of the sum of N300,000.
“Recently he tricked and duped one Abba Bale of Demsawo of the sum of three Hundred thousand (N300,000.00),” the police said.
