According to a previous tweet from @ifygold21, the bank gave the money on February 24, 2022, at the President’s request (major general Muhammadu Muhammadu Buhari) (retd).
Atiku is the real winner of the 2023 election, disregard the losers” – Dino Melaye laments
Nevertheless, the bank denied the story in a statement shared on its social media accounts on Tuesday, branding the post’s sponsors as ignorant and malevolent.
It further clarified that, contrary to what the post’s sponsor had stated, its managing director’s name is Miriam Olusanya and not Segun Agbaje.
The message was created using a faceless bot account, which is believed to be run by an unethical individual out to spread misinformation and incite well-intentioned Nigerians to their evil objectives, according to preliminary research by GTB.
The bank said that this attack was manifestly unjustified and presents a major threat to their ongoing operations, with immeasurable hazards to people’s lives and property.
